About Yoga...
Yoga
is the union, or the integration, between body, mind, and sprit. In the
west, the most commonly known yoga is Hatha yoga, the physical posture
yoga. In India, where yoga originated, the many forms of yoga help the
practitioner calm the mind and achieve peace and tranquility.
ABOUT DIVAKAR YOGA
The word Divakar means sun in Sanskrit, it is the spiritual name given
to Yonatan by his Guru in 1980. The main focus of Divakar yoga is
achieving health and fitness through playfulness with a light
heart.
As Yonatan progressed in his practice he noticed
that when people
stayed playful, their fitness goals were easily achieved. He learned
that allowing the stretch to occur naturally rather then pushing into
it achieved much more range of motion.
We let go of the concept of pushing through pain and allow ourselves to
expand in the body, mind and spirit.
Divakar yoga works with the law of attraction, we
focus on positive intentions directing the mind in a constructive way
to help the practitioner in their yoga practice and in life in general.
Yonatan, now over 50, still breaks his own
records on a daily basis, without pain. Many days find him feeling
ecstatic in his body, every cell vibrating with Shakti, the divine
energy. His passion is sharing this state of being with others, to help
them feel and look good.
